Étienne de Crécy Is Throwing Himself a Festival for Super Discount’s 30th

Étienne de Crécy performing live

Étienne de Crécy isn’t just marking 30 years of “Super Discount,” he’s building a two-night festival around it. The Super Discount Festival takes over Paris’s Centquatre (104) on December 18 and 19, 2026.

Thirty years of a founding record
Released in 1996, “Super Discount” is one of the albums people point to when they trace French Touch back to its roots, a project built with Alex Gopher and Philippe Zdar under a shared alias. Its most enduring track, “Prix Choc,” is still a dancefloor staple three decades on. Three decades later, de Crécy is treating the anniversary less as a nostalgia lap and more as an excuse to bring together the generations of house music that record helped set in motion.

Two nights, one address
The lineup announced so far includes Felix Da Housecat, Jayda G, Kenny Dope, Mayou Picchu, Perel, Tiga, Uffie and Valentine Groove. The most personal moment of the two nights comes from de Crécy himself: an exclusive Motorbass Tribute Set on the Friday, revisiting his old duo with the late Philippe Zdar, before he closes things out Saturday with a French Touch All Stars back-to-back set alongside special guests.

Thirty years on, “Super Discount” is getting the kind of send-off most albums only dream of: two nights, old friends, and a tribute set that’s bound to get emotional well before the night is even half over. Bring tissues, or at least a very good playlist for the ride home.
