Though the French Touch is now globally recognised, part of its origins lies in Versailles. The royal city saw the emergence of several artists who marked electronic music history, notably Air, Phoenix and Etienne de Crecy. The refinement and elegance of Versailles always influenced this unique scene, blending sophisticated melodies with hypnotic electro rhythms. Versailles Electro celebrates this musical heritage.
An exceptional line-up
This year, Versailles Electro honours essential French artists. Bob Sinclar, a House music figurehead, takes the decks with an exclusive set, joined by singer Steve Edwards (known for “World, Hold On”). The night opens with DJ Yellow, a deep house pioneer with World and Jazz influences. The duo Sasson & Soubeiran follows with a B2B set at sunset. Another highlight: the return of Kittin & The Hacker, a legendary French duo mixing techno and electroclash.
A unique setting
Dancing under the stars at the Chateau de Versailles makes the event unique. Spectacular staging (lighting and projections on the Chateau’s facade) promises total immersion, blending heritage and modernity. Previous editions hosted artists like Justice, Kavinsky, Kungs, Martin Solveig and Breakbot.
