Justice have a new song, and it is going to be heard by a lot of people. “Flower in a Hurricane” is out today and plays over the new Grand Theft Auto VI launch trailer, released on Rockstar’s channel on October 15. The game itself arrives on November 19.
The track features Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Getting three acts from that many different worlds on one French electronic song is a real achievement, and it says a lot about where Justice stand today.

A SONG BUILT FOR VICE CITY
“Flower in a Hurricane” is a big, driving piece: swirling synths, soaring vocals and crunchy guitar. Kevin Parker of Tame Impala sings and plays guitar, SZA adds vocals and harmonies, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard bring the grittier guitar parts. It suits the sunny, stormy mood of the game’s Miami-inspired setting. The lyrics also nod to Jason and Lucia, the two leads of the game, and their Bonnie and Clyde story.
This is not a first meeting for Justice and Tame Impala. Their song “Neverender” won a Grammy, the first for Tame Impala, and both “Neverender” and “One Night/All Night” are on Justice’s 2024 album Hyperdrama.
JUSTICE ARE BEHIND THE WHOLE SCORE
The song is only the visible part. Rockstar has confirmed that Justice composed the original score of GTA VI. Their music was already in the Extended Look released in late August and in the cover art reveal. Rockstar calls the score “the biggest, most immersive evolution” of the series. For a French duo that built its name in clubs, it is a huge platform.
WHY THE WAIT FEELS SO LONG
It has been 13 years since Grand Theft Auto V came out in 2013. GTA VI was first expected in fall 2025, then moved to May 26, 2026, and finally to November 19, 2026. When Rockstar announced the last delay, it apologized for the longer wait and said the extra months would allow more polish.
The excitement has not dropped. The first trailer, in December 2023, set a Guinness World Record with 90,421,491 views on YouTube in 24 hours. Guinness also called it the most sought-after video since the GTA V trailer 12 years earlier. Every new clip now becomes a global event, and a song attached to it reaches an audience few releases can match.
THE ALBUM BEHIND THE GAME
“Flower in a Hurricane” will be on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a 34-track collection of original music due on November 19, the same day as the game. Names revealed so far include Travis Scott, Cardi B, Yung Lean, PinkPantheress, Fred again.., Étienne de Crécy, Keith Richards, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro and Fuerza Regida. The French Touch link goes beyond Justice: Étienne de Crécy appears on “Sexy Magic”, and Travis Scott’s track is reportedly produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk.
Rockstar has also confirmed in-game radio hosts, including Bad Bunny, Lana Del Rey and Robyn. Few video games have ever gathered such an international line-up, and Justice sit right at the center of it.
